Description
Can you sense the busy cobblestone streets where women over a hundred years ago paved the way for the somewhat more equal society we now live in? Do you feel the sweeping of the heavy wool fabric around your ankles?
The Sweeping Suffragette Skirt takes its inspiration from casual womenswear in Edwardian times but I bet they didn’t have smartphone-sized side seam pockets back then!
Manufactured in: Lithuania.
Material: Heavy combed quality in a naturally melanged oat color with white pinstripes. 47 % wool, 36 % viscose, 15 % polyamide, 2 % spandex.
Origin of material: Italy.
Our review....Just gorgeous and very high quality. We love it with an antique, white blouse and brown, lace-up boots and it would be stunning with a nipped-in Edwardian jacket. We can see this special skirt on a classical musician, such as a cellist or a harpist (like me), or an artist-type.
