• ERA: GENUINE late 1960s.
• SIZE: There is no label but it seems approximately a modern size 10. It is waist-skimming, which is a flattering cut and there is more leeway if you are between sizes.. Please go by the measurements of Bust/ Waist/ Hip (cm): / /
• BRAND: No label.
• COLOUR: Yellow, orange, cream and brown florals on a black background.
• CONDITION: Very good used condition.
• COMPOSITION: No label but poly/ cotton blends were popular for house dresses because they were practical.
• FEATURES: Utility! A straight shift dress to just above the knee, for easy movement around the home. A front half zip for ease of access. Large dagger collar, which was popular in the the late '60s mod to '70s disco era. Large, deep patch pockets placed prominently on the front hips for practical storage. It is not lined.
• LOOKS GOOD WITH: A headscarf covering a rollers set! A mid-century housewife would welcome her husband home from work in a nice outfit, hair set and make-up, with a hot meal. Or you could add knee boots and opaque tights for an inner city look. Possibly break up the yellow and black if you want with a cropped, light denim jacket.
