Description
Flounce off in this pretty.- ERA: GENUINE 1950s.
- SIZE: There is no label. The dress doesn't fit on our mannequin, which is approximately size 8, so is probably a size 6. Please go by the measurements of Bust/ Waist/ Hip (cm): / /
- BRAND: No label.
- COLOUR: A dreamy 1950s Powder Pink, which was part of the post-war optimism palette. In some light, it has a slight apricot undertone.
- CONDITION: Very good. It could do with a dry clean. The side opening has three fastenings. At the top and bottom are press studs but the middle one has been replaced with a hook and eye.
- COMPOSITION: No label but it seems to be taffeta.
- FEATURES: Flounces for days. The two front faux pockets are actually flounces and your hands will slip straight through. They partially cover a V shape waist. There are flounces along the sweetheart neckline, sleeves and hem. The overall effect is so delicate, with a subtle glow...like springtime in moonlight. It is not lined.
- LOOKS GOOD WITH: Delicate, light-coloured accessories which don't overpower the gown.
- CODE: F-M-S
